 | | | | An analog multiplier/divider is a device that produces an output voltage or current that is proportional to the product of two or more independent input voltages or currents. In addition to multiplying and dividing, multipliers can perform squaring, square-rooting and modulation functions. Applications include radar, communications, and industrial controls where a real-time response is required. Analog Devices’ offers the widest selection of multipliers and dividers.

 | | | | Analog Devices offers the AD22151 as the newest Hall Effect Sensor.
The sensor combines integrated bulk Hall cell technology and
instrumentation circuitry to minimize temperature related drifts
associated with silicon Hall cell characteristics. The architecture
maximizes the advantages of a monolithic implementation while
allowing sufficient versatility to meet varied application requirements
with a minimum number of components.

 | | | | Analog Devices’ signal conditioning ICs, together with Linear Variable Differential Transformers (LVDTs), can be used to convert mechanical position to a dc voltage. The IC provides both the excitation for the LVDT as well as converting the output to dc level with a user selectable gain. ADI’s LVDT signal conditioners are available to interface with a wide range of LVDTs, including half bridge and standard 4- and 5-wire.

Analog Devices offers dual and quad transistors with excellent matching characteristics. Offset voltages, temperature drift, and hFE matching are individually tested to datasheet specifications. Device performance is guaranteed over industrial and military temperature ranges. These devices are an excellent choice as an input stage for an amplifier or in log/anti-log circuits. ADI’s matched transistors offer low noise and high gain, with characteristics approaching an ideal transistor.

 | | | | RMS is a fundamental measurement of an ac signal. RMS to DC converters manufactured by ADI are used in a wide variety of applications where precision, low power measurement of ac signal is the prime objective. An ADI RMS-to-DC converter offers 'real time' measurements, i.e. there are no latency issues such as those that limit the frequency response of other technologies - the dc output is simply the equivalent of the RMS input, over a wide range of input frequencies, and for complex waveforms not limited to sine-waves. ADI offers a wide range of RMS-DC converters optimized for the most demanding performance, power and cost applications satisfying True RMS needs. Sample and Hold Amplifiers and Track and Hold Amplifiers are used in signal processing systems, event analysis, and many other applications. Analog Devices offers a portfolio that combines speed with precision. Our Sample and Hold Amplifiers can acquire a signal in 700 ns and hold it with a droop rate of only 0.01 µV/µs. These devices are up to 14 bit accurate with low aperture jitter and output impedance. Available in commercial, industrial, and military temperature ranges, ADI offers the Sample and Hold or Track and Hold Amplifier that will acquire the signal you need. Also in this product line is the PKD01, an IC that tracks an analog input and holds the maximum value it reaches. The PKD01 can be reset to positive or negative voltage levels, and can be configured to sense positive or negative peaks.
