The ADXL78 is a small package (5 mm x 5 mm x 2 mm ceramic LCC), low power (1.3 mA current at 5V), single axis high-g iMEMS® accelerometer designed to sense shock and vibration at g-ranges of ±35g, ±50g, or ±70g. Three models are available and include AD22279-A-R2 (±35g), AD22280-R2 (±50g), and AD22281-R2 (±70g). These products are used in a variety of crash/impact detection applications that include automotive airbag crash detection systems as well as, medical, industrial, and sports equipment.
