AD8313:  0.1 - 2.5 GHz, 70 dB Logarithmic Detector / Controller

Product Description

The AD8313 is an RF logarithmic detector and controller, with response extending from 0.1 to 2.5 GHz. The device is capable of accurately converting a modulated RF signal at its differential input to an equivalent decibel-scaled value at its dc output. The dynamic range is up to 70 dB with ±3 dB accuracy, or 62 dB to ±1 dB. The AD8313 is useful for RF transmitter and receiver power measurement and control applications. It is offered in a small eight-pin micro-SO package. Its application requires only the provision of a 2.7 V to 5.5 V power supply, along with input coupling and power supply decoupling capacitors.
